Hollie and her family go deep at Casas Church where I also attend and serve. Hollie comes from a long line of people w/ influence and she’s no different as the firstborn in her family. She’s got younger siblings and has alot of folks that look upto her – she takes it in stride and smile! as you can see it’s quite a smile. Thanks Hollie for choosing me to tell your senior story. Matthew & Katey are my Sept 5th Bride & Groom … and we had quite an adventure shooting their engagement photos. We started where it all started for them.. “kon tiki” bar / resturant – where the story goes: Katey picked Matthew up and that’s all she wrote! After our start there we made our way over to Sabino Canyon and finally finished at St. Phillips Church were Katey’s parents attend. While there was alot of hiking involved fun was had by us all including JD Fitzgerald who assisted me. Thanks JD and thanks to you guys Matthew and Katey for a great day. Looking forward to Sept 5th !

Tanya is likely the last class of 2010 senior that I’ll work with – w/ 2011 already starting to book. Tanya’s got a smile as big as her heart and her heart is into Tennis. Tanya hasn’t had an easy road in life, her grandma has done an admirable job of raising her since she was 5, while Tanya’s parents try to push out a living over in China. Grandma is her rock and she’s so proud of her grand daugther. Tanya pursued the best education she could find with good tennis programs and it paid off. Tanya won a singles state championship this year with Pusch Ridge Christian Academy and was a standout on a state championship team. I know the road ahead won’t be easy either, but you’re a veteran of those situations and your hard work will pay off again. Best of luck to you in all that you do. Michael is my first class of 2011 senior of the season that starts : NOW – I was super stoked to work with Michael as he is the first born son of long time friends of mine Heidi & Troy. Hard to believe that I’m beginning to shoot with kids I knew when they were knee high to a .. whatever that phrase is. Michael is a softspoken contemplater of life. Nothing about Michael is just average or boring. Michael is the kinda guy that runs track just to get in some excersize. The first born of 4 siblings Michael blazes his own trail like alot of us firstborns (Me included) – sometimes to the shigrin of his parents… Michael will make his mark on this world and when he does it’s going to be significant. Michael is the first of my ambassadors for class of 2011 to shoot with me… looking forward to the next 12 months Michael. Thanks to Heidi Jones for assisting, fun was had for sure !

If Nathan (“Nico”) Ellis was my biggest surpise of my senior season in class of 2010 as a guy – Kathryn was my biggest surprise of class 2010 among the girls. Kathryn came out of no where to contact me and have me tell her Senior story. She also appears to be my LAST 2010 senior of the season with class of 2011 right behind her. Kathryn is just under 5 foot tall but nothing short of remarkable as a “presense” .. she was super confident, fun and focused. With offers from both the U of Arizona and Kansas – it seems the Jayhawks are going to have to look elsewhere. An Opera singer, Kathryn has a large voice coming from a small frame. Kathryn is planning on double majoring (Chemistry / Pychology) with a possible minor in Music – all before attending Medical School. Love to check in on her in the future and see how these lofty goals are coming. If anyone can pull them off I’m certain it’s Kathryn. Thanks so much for allowing me into your world Kathryn… it was a pleasure finishing class of 2010 w/ your shoot. Your mom was an awesome assistant.
