Adrian | Senior [PRCA '11]

Post Image

Adrian Guzman has a unique talent. Adrian can make 2 different sounds at the same time from his mouth… think “beat box” type stuff… like music. It’s very interesting, and I guess more challenging then rolling your tongue into a taco or whistling. Adrian will play a sigificant role this, his senior year on the Pusch Ridge Christian Academy basketball team that lost alot of talent from last years class of 2010. This is his time… along with a few of his other teammates from class of 2011. Adrian is interested in taking his skills to the next level and would love a scholarship for basketball and is looking at all in-state colleges for that opp. He’s joined the swim team this year just to cross train and stay in shape. I liked Adrian from the start and not just cause of our common love of basketball. He’s just one of those cool cats.. he’s 2011’s Trever Cook at PRCA. I loved working with you Adrian and count myself lucky to have you as one of my ambassador’s for 2011. A good year is ahead of us ! Special props out to JD Fitzgerald for assisting on this shoot. My photos are better because of him.

Jill | Senior [IRHS '11]

Post Image

Jill isn’t even the first one in her family I’ve done Senior photos for. Jill’s older brother Steve was one of my 2010 seniors. (Steve’s Senior Photos) If you remember Steve – he’s the track champion.. he runs fast. Well Steve is off to College as a Tarheel at the Univ of North Carolina – and it’s Jill’s turn to be big gal on campus at Ironwood Ridge. Jill’s also runs cross country and Track & Field. Running mostly team events Jill is an anchor on 3 time defending state championship teams in both disciplines. Jill is currently undecided on where she’ll be for college yet, while it will likely be in state such as Northern Arizona Univ. Jill was energetic, fun and game for anything. She even hiked in highheels and brought along good friends to the shoot. Thanks to Micah (IRHS ‘12) and Nat (IRHS ‘12) for tagging along to help out and be supportive. Big thanks to momma Magnuson for her help and support a second time around. It’s going to be a fun year Jill. Enjoy it !

Osterloh Bochnia Wedding | [06.26.10] Tucson Country Club

Post Image

Scott & Sarah were beyond fun to work with. Scott found me after he attended the Bush Eide Wedding last october, something about my reception dance lighting that impressed him. That and he was impressed with my great crew (Jenna / Kelly and I). Scott is in the Air Force so I liked him immediately as my brother is a Major in the AF. I really had no idea how silly & fun this wedding was going to be. You’ll know from the photos how much fun we had. Great attitudes & tones of joy all around. I posted more fun silly ones than usual just cause that’s what the whole day was like. Tucson country club hosted this wedding. Cindy (site coordinator) was beyond helpful & awesome. Sarah worked for TCC so it was fun to see how many people there that day knew her. Sarah also did all her own florals which I thought would be challenging but she did an OUTSTANDING job. Beyond fantastic. I had a great crew as well with Sarah Trainor on 2nd shooting along with JD Fitzgerald 3rd shooting and assisting. Thanks everyone for a great day, the photos show how much fun we all had for sure!

Schultz Rogers Wedding | [06.12.10] Barrier Chapel & Tucson Omni Resort

Post Image

Eric & Amy tied the knot on a “cooler” day in June.. the high was 89 degrees – which is nearly unheard of during June in Tucson. We had wonderful clouds and a bit more wind than we’d have liked. All of this was better than crazy heat. The Barrier Chapel was the site of the ceremony located at Casas Church in Oro Valley. This is my “home court” as I attend Casas and am an Elder there! Good friend and Pastor Jack Schull officiated and his wife Amy coordinated. I love working with Jack – he’s the best officiant I’ve seen. Amy Schull is the newly minted wedding coordinator over at Casas. After the ceremony we took a trip to a local park with a softball diamond for us to have a friendly bridemaids vs. groomsmen game. Most of Amy’s bridesmaids were her college softball team so it was fun to get them back out on the field. Eric took the most awesome spill in the dirt I’ve ever seen, he had the dirty tux to prove it. He was a good sport. The Reception was originally going to be at the new Reflections at El Cooridor – but was moved as the site has not yet been finished. I still got to work with the wonderful staff at Reflections even though it was moved over to Omni Resort. John @ reflections did a great job as usual as the DJ – and this wedding involved good friend Elaine Taylor on florals. She even attended the reception as her husband was one of Amy’s coaches in the past. I’ve got the photo to prove it. I had the services of the ever talented Kelly Hicks again as 2nd shooter, and Jenna Bourland on assistance. A great team again.

Below Image – I must confess I totally stole this exact idea from Kelly Hicks – she did it so well at this location for Brittney & Matt’s wedding

Turnbeaugh Clelland Engagement | [Downtown Tucson]

Post Image

Jacob & Rachel are my Oct 23rd couple and they are going to tie the knot at Oasis Wild Horse. Rachel, Heidi and I go way back as she was involved in the college group at Casas Church with us back in 2002-2004 – so it was fun to hear from her as a wedding client. Fun times will be had at the end of oct together. thanks guys for a fun time in downtown. JD Fitzgeard helped make these photos better than they would have been. Appreciate you JD.
