JJ and Alisa tied the knot in less than perfect weather on the 22nd of Jan of 2010 – my first wedding of 2010. In light of concerns regarding weather all week leading up to the event we weren’t really sure what we were going to get come wedding day. What we got was a boat load of people excited to be there for a wedding. Even the sun made a great appearance for most of the afternoon. The Rain finally caught up with us after the ceremony and forced us to take the family formals inside and cancelled the better part of the Bridal party photos and romantics. We didn’t get the sunset they really wanted but in the end JJ and Alisa were married and off to spend the next 9 days or so in Hawaii – so really nothing was going to dampen their spirits. This is only the beginning of the rest of their lives, besides that they got clever with the “engagement” session and saved it for afterwards which we are now going to make a bridal attire shoot to get great romantics and sunset photos. It’s all good in the end. Check out what we got before the weather turned south ! Special thanks goes out to my 2nd shooter Kelly Hicks [www.kellyhicksblog.com] and most of all to my nevertiresome assistant Stephie Cohn ! Thanks to Alisa and JJ for making me feel like old family at your special day !
