Post Image

Each year at this time I set up my portable studio over at Trinity Dance for a week long shoot of all the dancers as they near recital. This year I’ve been given the opportunity to fill some of the gaps throughout the week with some time for all of you! I’ve got 20 minute micro sessions to fill starting Saturday, May 15th and Monday, May 17th – Saturday, May 22nd. Bring your kids, parents, siblings… give the gift that keeps on giving for generations: photos ! This will answer the question: “What do I get for the Father / Grandfather that has everything?” We’ll shoot with you for 20 minutes and you will end up with up to 25 keepsake photos including touch up and a photo release to print at your leisure. Dad’s – you can make this a late Mother’s day gift and be assured your wife won’t mind having new professional photos of you and the kids. Price for this Micro Session: just $ 89 + tax – that’s it. Call 520.248.1611 to schedule or email me at: weeums@gmail.com – for availability. Happy Father’s Day – June 20th, 2010.

Enjoy highlights of the results from last year’s event!

Annjeanette, the bride, goes way back with Heidi and I, back to our time serving in the college group at Casas from 2002-2004 – we met AJ then and she and her sister were a big part of that group for those 2 or 3 years. It was an honor and a pleasure to be contacted, considered and chosen to be her wedding photographer. I hadn’t met David before our interview and engagement session but he’s everything that AJ needed and wanted in a Godly man. It was fun to see their love on display on wedding day and of course an honor to be apart of it. Thanks guys for trusting me to tell your wedding story. Thanks to Robert Wilson who came out to 2nd shoot and assist me. A huge help.

Marybeth and Joshua are the kinda clients that you love to work with. You want more clients like these guys.. they were super fun and way relaxed on their day. We all had a blast and I loved their big wedding party. They had me do a Wedding Booth – which is already posted here on facebook, which was alot of fun. I also had what I am now calling my best backup crew in the world. Jeff Ambrose as a 2nd photographer, as well as, the talented and fun Kelly Hicks – operating the booth and shooting details & candids. Tons of fun was had by all and I’ll always remember this beautiful day in March of 2010. Thanks Marybeth and Joshua ! happy lives together and it’s fun to call you guys friends! Kelly and Jeff – couldn’t have done it without you guys .. you both rock !

Chris | Senior [PRCA '10]

Chris Siek is a funny guy… there’s no if’s and’s or but’s about it… We went on location to Laff’s comedy club where they were generous enough to let us shoot right up on stage. I told Chris to share some of his “stuff” and pretend like he was performing to a crowd. He did just that and had me rolling.. and I think she really authentic photos came out of our time there. Some of the Laff’s black and white stuff looks like promo photos for his upcoming funny tour. That’d be pretty cool. Chris is going to hang around in Tucson next year and get some general ed out of the way at Pima and look to transfer to UA in the next couple of years. Until then I think I convinced him to find his way to open mic night and start testing his skillz. Thanks Chris for making me laugh.. and thanks to your mom for great assistance. Appreciate you both !
