Zachary and Jenna are getting married on August 21st, 2010 – and i’m excited to be their guy. I’ve known Jenna’s family for a bit – and their good folks. Should be fun if the engagement session was any indication. Jenna was a very willing participant in our hike to the uppers of Gates Pass for the sunset stuff. Fun time.

Bill and Shannon tied the knot in the middle of Oct – and it was a warmer day than it should have been. The Guys and I shot at the Heritage Highlands in the midday heat – then it was over to “Santa Catalina Parish” Church for some time with the girls and the ceremony. we finished up at the Vistoso Golf Club. The sun… set on us with intention and we snuck in what we could and made the most of every moment. I had special help for this one – Elyse Wheeland second shot and took one for the team at sunset as she backed into a cactus moving lighting equipment. Elyse always doing more than expected. Jonathan Puente assisted and 3rd shot some. One of my favorite DJ’s (Warren B) was there and the evening finished off with a fun party. Thanks Bill and Shannon for inviting me in to be apart of your day. It’s always a pleasure when this happens.

this shoot was special to me.. the Garner’s are family. Chelsea is my sister – and it was my honor of course to be asked to document Curt and Chelsea’s family before they added the 4th member “Abram John Garner” who was born 2 weeks after this shoot on Nov 1st, 2009. Asher is only 7 weeks older than his cousin Leighton (my son) – so much fun all these boys are going to have together! Thanks guys and newborn photos of Abram are to come.

Eric and Amy are my June 12th, 2010 – couple and they came in all the way from Colorado just for an engagement session…. er.. ok that’s a lie – they were in for all kinds of family and planning reasons – but I felt special that they wanted to sneek this session in with their busy 4 day weekend plans. Amy said all her friends would be crazy over the desert backdrop – how’d we do making it “Sonoran Desert” ?

Felicity Kramer was born on friday night Oct 2nd – she made a surprise appearance after what looked like would be an overdue induction. Felicity decided that less than 24 hours after we’d shot the Kramer’s Maternity photos – that she was done – 2 weeks early… I got the pleasure to stop in with them and shoot a couple of the new parents with this bundle of joy. As a photographer it’s fun to be with people at so many of these big life events: Weddings, Graduations, Births – I think seeing new life – and the freshness of babies along with first time parenting awe & amazement is among the most emotional of these! Here’s Felicity and her newly minted parents ! Congrats Ryan and Amber – it will be fun to see how parenting and life changes for you both. I know you’ll both do great!

next is my most FAVORITE hospital photo I’ve EVER taken !
