AJ and David are my Bride and Groom for 03.26.10. Aj goes way back with Heidi and I – back to the days of when we led the “kollectiv” college group at Casas Church. She’s now all grown up. Has a great job, a great man and a great life. I was tickled to death to have her look me up and ask the to shoot their special day coming up. I was in from the start. We escaped the heat of Tucson and went up to Mt. Lemmon just north of Tucson. Where the engagement happened for AJ and David ! David – it was great getting to know you – and your guys wedding is going to be great !
Trever Cook is not only a senior at Pusch Ridge Christian Academy – my Alma Mater – but he’s THE Student Body President. He’s one cool cat – I picked him out of the crowd end of his Junior year at PRCA – knowing I’d want to get to know this guy! I found out we have so much in common – he’s a UNC Tarheel fan, he’s pretty sure he’s going into film school following highschool – so he’s interested in so many of the same things and he’s an extreme extrovert. Plus I was almost named Trevor – should I go on? This is a guy who’s going somewhere.. ! Thanks to momma Cook for her killer help on the session as “hair and makeup” as well as equipment manager and wardrobe. Trev’s – thanks for letting me be apart of your senior year !
this one gets me everytime…. I think it’s my new most favorite senior shot of all time: moving car is just awesome !
Sammie comes from a great family. The Smith family is faboo. I’m fortunate to know all of them. Mom and Dad are a trip! Fantastic clients of mine several times over – so when it came time to tell Sammie’s Senior story – it was no doubt they were going to have me tell it. What I really liked about Sammie: she’s got great family support and has her head on straight – she’s really got a handle on where she is in life and doesn’t seem to be too swayed by others around her standing in what she knows to be true. Continue on Sammie… you were great to work with. Super duper thx to fellow IRHS ‘04 grad Matt Hagedorn for assisting on this shoot. You da man Matt !
Liz Petersen is a Class 2010 senior at Ironwood Ridge Highschool – her parents and I go back a few years as we served together at Casas Church in the gathering ministries. Liz is super duper interested in medical missionary work of some kind. She’s current doing an internship where she has been a witness to lots of babies being born and she’s got a great heart for all people. We had a wonderful photoshoot together which nearly ended cause of an awesome Southern Arizona Monsoon Storm. Our patience paid off as the sunset – thanks to Sherie (Momma Petersen) for all her help and assistance. Great results & thanks for hanging with me on my 35th birthday !
Cortney is a Senior at Pusch Ridge Christian Academy – she’s a Volleyball and Soccer player as you can see from the newly added sports themed photos. We had the sports stuff rained out first time around. I had a ton of fun working with Cortney. She tore it up as a natural ! Cortney – Thanks for pushing thru after your crazy volleyball practices started! special thanks to Matt Hagedorn for his assistance on this shoot. Papa Beadle (Mark) pictched in as well. The Gym shoot was intense!
I think I’ve decided that this is one of my most favorite Senior photos OF ALL TIME from me!
