Jeremy and KatieJo are my Oct 3rd, 2009 couple – i’m excited for their wedding also cause of new shooting locations for both ceremony and reception sites. Plus they are just alot of fun.. they were fun to work with and easy to make smile. hours before our shoot they found out their offer on their first house was accepted ! (the american dream!)
Eric and Cassie are getting married in Austin Texas nearly a year from now – i’m hoping to get to join them for that as well – but if not.. it was such a pleasure getting to work with them for their engagement photos! Eric spends alot of his time at the U of A Medical center as he is in residency. So the UA location was close to his home away from home. We moved to downtown afterwards!
I was seriously looking forward to Nick and Juniper’s wedding: New Locations ! The Ceremony was held at a cute little rustic chapel called “San Pedro Chapel” which is located in central Tucson off of the old Ft. Lowell road heading towards Craycroft and Fort. Lowell Park. It was pretty cute…. then the reception was held over at Hotel Congress in downtown. Neither place had I been to before…. they had a great wedding party and we had a grand time! I had some backup for the event but I couldn’t have everyone the whole time. Jonathan Puente started out as my assistant at the Chapel and then Shannon Morgenstern joined me for the reception. t’was fun to have them both again even if it wasn’t at the same time!
a first for me: a wonderful dove release – was very cool
Bride and Groom out front of the cute “San Pedro Chapel”
a wonderful long lens grab during family formals by Jonathan Puente
another great capture by Jonathan from a 2nd shooter angle:
Shannon Morgenstern was thoughtful enough to grab this one amidst a cramped timeline
best photo I’ve ever taken of a groom/mother-n-law dance – love this awesome dip
every wedding my crew and I have a cake shot contest – this time the players: Travis, Shannon
(1) Travis’:
(2) Shannon’s: who’s is better?
DJ was related to the Bride – we got some fun photos of him!
here’s a killer alternate grab by Shannon – just awesome:
a classic shot of me by shannon – it’s always “on the fly” – and crazy faces !
I ended the Senior Class of 2009 with a great shoot with best friends and fellow Pusch Ridge Christian Academy grads: Gina and Isa (often referred to as the “bugs”). They both have a love of Dance and we finished with a very unique photoshoot to bring in something personal. It was the first “double” shoot for me as they wanted a few photos together. We had a blast and they were such good sports ! thanks bugs !
